Pelvic Organ Prolapse, incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain, sexual discomfort – all PFDs - occur when the pelvic floor has lost integration with the body as a whole. The muscles, the ligaments (fascia), the way that we breathe, the tone of the organs and the condition of the nervous system ALL play important roles in a healthy pelvic floor.
